My family and I had the opportunity to stay at a charming hotel in Tolmin during our trip for the Tolminator Metal Festival. The location was ideal, just a leisurely 10-minute walk to the festival grounds, which made it easy for us to come and go with our kids in tow. Our room was snug, with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains that left an imprint on our memories. The bedding was cozy-perfect for our sleepy heads after a long day of adventures. The air conditioning worked exceptionally well, which was a blessing during warm summer nights. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which had a variety of options to satisfy everyone's palate. The staff was attentive, ensuring everything was fresh and readily available. One morning, we even chatted with the reception desk about family-friendly activities, and they suggested the nearby Tolmin Gorge-a magnificent spot we all loved exploring! For those with little ones, bike hire is available at the hotel, which was a hit with my kids. If you're hoping for fun at the water, Aquapark Bohinj is a short drive away. The blend of relaxation and adventure made our stay memorable. We'd happily return if we're back in Tolmin!
